A great rule of thumb is: if you can't pronounce it; don't eat it. If you would be afraid to eat it; don't put it on your skin.
Your skin is what you put on it. Use chemicals and it will absorb those chemicals. Pure plant oils are what your skin craves. Keep it happy and it will keep you happy!

You skin needs to be replenished the pure, toxin-free way. Think of beef jerky. This is what happens to our skin with constant heat and sun exposure. Live Long Sunscreen
Has 25% zinc oxide percentage to make this sunscreen an SPF 22. Plus the carrier oils in this formula have sun-filtering properties. The iron oxide and rice powder also have sun-filtering properties.
We only use non-nano zinc oxide. We made the decision years ago not to go with the tinier sized particles.
Lightly tinted -- we use brown iron oxide to take that "white" look from our sunscreen. Add a little color to your skin. Blends into the skin better--even more sun protection. May stain light clothing.
Our Live Long Sunscreen feels different from chemical-based sunscreens. It will leave a "sheen" on the skin and does feel oilier than the chemical based sunscreens. We have not had any issues of our Sunscreen causing acne or breakouts. The oxides can have a drying effect on the skin.
Gentle enough for babies. Strong enough for redheads.
Protect your skin from the damaging UVA and UVB rays. Remember to re-apply every couple hours especially if you are in higher elevations. The ozone layer is thinning. This is letting more UV rays through the atmosphere.
The zinc oxide provides full spectrum protection of 22. Then the oils in this sunscreen are sun-filtering oils. I compare the SPF factor of Live Long to a commercial, chemical sunscreen of 25-30.
The Lavender essential oil provide protection from insects; as well as being beneficial to skin.
Reapply often, especially after sweating, swimming, exercise. It can be rubbed off which means it is not protecting.

This blend gets its benefits from the carrier oils and essential oils. Many of my nursing clients have found this lotion very helpful. It soaks in quickly, but continues healing and soothing even after several hand washings.

Lemongrass-Tangerine -- Intoxicating scent. Takes the basic Germ Fighter and add lemongrass and tangerine. These essential oils help ward off colds and flu by killing harmful germs.
Mandarin - Grapefruit -- Another popular citrus combination. Takes the basic Germ Fighter and add mandarin and grapefruit.
Unscented -- Basic soap with just a small amount of Lavender essential oil.
I have not been able to make this formula work in foaming pumps without clogging. Only chemical derived surfactants seem to work in them.
Teach your children that they only need a drop of this soap...not 1 or more pumps.
Bar Soaps
Natural, all vegetable castile soaps. Healing, pure and toxin-free.All of our castile soaps are pH neutral. We do not recommend using castile soaps on a woman's face (guys skin is thicker). Facial skin is thinner and more delicate. Our Face Washes are ideal for your face....soap free and pH balanced.
Our suggestions for hair and body:
Shaving: Cocoa Butter or Oatmeal bar soap
Eczema/Psoriasis, Dandruff (scalp and body): Acne Bar Soap
Hair: Any of our bar soaps work well....since everyone is different; you may like one better than another. Barb prefers the Lavender Bar soap on her hair; I use different ones and have not found any that don't work well on the scalp.
Acne: This bar soap is for Acne on the arms, back, chest, buttock area. May be too strong for the face. Contains neem seed oil, essential oils of: geranium, grapefruit, cedarwood, patchouli, lemongrass, sandalwood; corn meal and kaolin clay.
Cocoa Butter: Universally recognized as a skin emollient. Very gentle on sensitive skin. Added to basic ingredients: cocoa butter, rosemary essential oil.
Lavender: The lovely fragrance of this traditional soap is one almost everyone loves. Barb loves this for her hair. Added to basic ingredients: ground lavender flowers, lavender essential oil.
Oatmeal: A classic, old-fashioned skin cleanser that is also soothing to irritated skin. Helps to stop the itching of skin rashes and chicken pox. Added to basic ingredients: ground oats, cinnamon essential oil.
Calendula Oatmeal: This wonderfully healing, soothing soap also for itching and skin rashes. Also works great on hair and scalp. Added to basic ingredients: ground oats, calendula flower petals and African Black soap.
Olive Oil: It's here! 100% olive oil soap, with tea tree essential oil and lemongrass essential oil. This is a great shampoo bar. I have been testing it and have been amazed. Ingredients: Saponified Olive oil, tea tree essential oil, lemongrass essential oil.
Plain Jane: By customer request! Pure soap; no essential oils. If you want to avoid essential oils for your baby; this is the bar!
Green Tea with Honey: This is a great bar of soap. Good for skin issues. Added to basic ingredients: green tea leaves, honey.
Reverse Hair Loss: We have created this as an alternative to the liquid Reverse Hair Loss Shampoo. Has the same essential oils. Some of them will be in the form of ground herbs.

This is a great soap for dry, irritated, itchy skin. Goat milk is soothing and healing. Great for dry hair and scalp too!

Commercial Sunscreen Ingredients
Isotridecyl salicylate, Octyl salicylate--UVB filter and antiseptic. Skin irritants; some salicylates have hormone-disrupting potential.
Butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane--UVA filter. Causes: skin rashes, allergic reactions and inflammation; B-MDMs questionable stability in the sun means it may break down into chemicals that inhibit the skins natural defenses against sunlight, leaving it more vulnerable to skin cancer and premature ageing.
Octocrylene--UVB filter belonging to the cinnamate family of chemicals. Health effects: Skin irritant; some cinnamates have hormone-disrupting effects; research by the Norwegian Radiation Protection Authority suggests that weak doses of cinnamates can cause premature death of animal skin cells.
Potassium Hydroxide--Controls alkalis. Health effects: Skin irritation and eye damage.
Butane, Isobutane and Propane
Parfum--Fragrance. Health effects: Allergenic; can contain hormone-disrupting, liver-toxic and neurotoxic artificial musks; asthmatic reactions; nervous-system reactions such as headaches, mood swings, depression, forgetfulness and irritation.

While it is impossible to make an effective sun cream without chemical sun screens or mineral sun blocks, it is possible to make a sun cream that is low in skin irritants and is without synthetic perfumes or petroleum-derived polymers (plastic-like substances that glue the sun screen to your skin). Products that use mineral sun blocks, such as titanium or zinc oxide, tend to be less irritating than chemical sun screens.

...I just HAVE to send you a quick email and tell you how much I LOVE your deodorant and body butter! I had not tried either of these items previously ~ and, WOW!...was I surprised!
Since I began my "health quest", I have been on a mission to find suitable replacements for both of these items. I would guess that I have invested in (because they are not inexpensive like the "bad stuff") I used to use is!) probably 5 or 6 different deodorants and probably twice as many lotions. Sadly, most of them have either been returned (because they were down-right awful, or tossed into the garbage can!)
After researching and reading ingredients on literally dozens of them, I had finally "settled" for a deodorant that was at least good for me, but still left me feeling like I needed to apply it more than once daily (and I'm not a "stinky" person by nature...so I was always frustrated by this!) I was pretty much at the point where I figured I was going to have to accept that there wasn't a product out there that really worked AND was good for me! Well, yours is AMAZING!! Oh my goodness, if only I could stand on a mountaintop and tell the world! This is a must-have in everyone's body care took kit!
And, I have always been a lotion nut! After having sold SO many froofie lotion products over the years, I have had an endless supply of samplers and testers and even had some real favorites - only problem was that I had to toss all of them when I learned what was really in them! So, I have likewise been researching and label-reading on tons of lotions and creams - finally settled on one that I figured was going tyo be the best I could get, even though I didn't just love it.
Well, I have used the body butter after my morning showers for the past several days - and, I am not kidding, my skin STILL feels soft by the time I'm getting my pj's on at night. It too, is simply amazing! I also love the hand lotion - one might be taken back by the way it looks at first because it is not the typical "cream" that is usually expected, but it goes on so nicely and is not at all greasy...and it really feels like it is going into my skin! I love it, love it, love it!
I have to tell you another fun thing. I have tried to be very "quiet" verbally with my close family about my health mission. I have really wanted them to see the changes I am making and ASK me - rather than trying to push it on them.
Well, my 58 yr old sister-in-law, 81 yr old mother-in-law, and 32 yr old niece have been "begging" me for the past few weeks to have a "skin-care lunch" with them. We finally found some time to do this and, long story short, they bought over half of what I just ordered from you. They just love it, as well. Of course, my 60 yr old mother and 35 yr old sister have already been using and loving your skin care products!
Finally, I have to tell you that I have never had the world's best skin - not scarred or acne prone, but just not that "movie star" looking glowing skin! I can honestly tell you (I have been keeping notes) that 5 people have commented on my skin in the past few months. They tell me I look younger and ask what I am doing differently. I humbly tell them that I have changed what I'm putting inside and outside of my body. Many people ask questions and want to know more....
