...I just HAVE to send you a quick email and tell you how much I LOVE your deodorant and body butter! I had not tried either of these items previously ~ and, WOW!...was I surprised!
Since I began my "health quest", I have been on a mission to find suitable replacements for both of these items. I would guess that I have invested in (because they are not inexpensive like the "bad stuff") I used to use is!) probably 5 or 6 different deodorants and probably twice as many lotions. Sadly, most of them have either been returned (because they were down-right awful, or tossed into the garbage can!)
After researching and reading ingredients on literally dozens of them, I had finally "settled" for a deodorant that was at least good for me, but still left me feeling like I needed to apply it more than once daily (and I'm not a "stinky" person by nature...so I was always frustrated by this!) I was pretty much at the point where I figured I was going to have to accept that there wasn't a product out there that really worked AND was good for me! Well, yours is AMAZING!! Oh my goodness, if only I could stand on a mountaintop and tell the world! This is a must-have in everyone's body care took kit!
And, I have always been a lotion nut! After having sold SO many froofie lotion products over the years, I have had an endless supply of samplers and testers and even had some real favorites - only problem was that I had to toss all of them when I learned what was really in them! So, I have likewise been researching and label-reading on tons of lotions and creams - finally settled on one that I figured was going tyo be the best I could get, even though I didn't just love it.
Well, I have used the body butter after my morning showers for the past several days - and, I am not kidding, my skin STILL feels soft by the time I'm getting my pj's on at night. It too, is simply amazing! I also love the hand lotion - one might be taken back by the way it looks at first because it is not the typical "cream" that is usually expected, but it goes on so nicely and is not at all greasy...and it really feels like it is going into my skin! I have to tell you another fun thing. I have tried to be very "quiet" verbally with my close family about my health mission. I have really wanted them to see the changes I am making and ASK me - rather than trying to push it on them.
Well, my 58 yr old sister-in-law, 81 yr old mother-in-law, and 32 yr old niece have been "begging" me for the past few weeks to have a "skin-care lunch" with them. whipped Body Butter
What a great skin softener. Everyone who tries this raves. Great for excessive sun exposure, windburned skin, winter-damaged skin, cuticles, cracked skin, heels. Can be used on the face also. A tiny amount goes a long way.
This butter is also a great hair treatment for African-Americans
These butters--Shea, Ilipe, Mango, Sal, Kokum, Cocoa, Mowrah. Combined with Jojoba and Evening Primrose Oil. Add Vitamin E and Rosemary Oil Extract for extra protection and healing.
The Jasmine Dream, Lilac Kissed, Rose Dream, Spring Violets, Vanilla Icing are made with the organic flavor concentrates and/or organic flavor oils.
Almost everyone has heard about cocoa butter and shea butter. Not many know there are many more "butters”. I combined these: shea, cocoa, mowrah, mango, sal, kokum.
These are whipped with jojoba and evening primrose oil about two hours to make the Ultimate butter. Melts on the skin. Wonderful for severely chapped and damaged skin.

When shipping this item, we can not control the temperatures the product may endure during the summer months or shipping it to hot climates.
If you get a butter that looks grainy or hard, it has melted in transit. To resolve this:
1. Scoop product out of jar into a clean, small glass mixing bowl.
2. Using your hand or stand mixer, whip butter for 10-15 minutes. It should fluff back up and get creamy again. The "whip" attachments work better than the normal beaters if you have one.
3. Wash jar and lid with hot water to kill any bacteria. Put product back into jar and enjoy a wonderful skin and hair softening experience!
Dr. Christopher's Herbal Tooth Powder
This herbal food combination to help strengthen the gums and assist in tightening loose teeth. Combines oak bark, horsetail grass, cloves, dandelion root, raspberry leaf, peppermint, rosehip, stevia.
This formula is used to help strengthen the gums (bleeding and pyorrea-type infections of the gums) and assist in tightening loose teeth. Will brighten tooth luster and make mouth healthier. In severe cases place powder between lips and gums (upper and lower) around entire tooth area and leave on all night, six nights a week (as well as regular brushing and flossing) until improvement is evident. Then continue regular brushing.
Dip wet, very soft toothbrush in powder. Brush gently down on uppers and up on lower teeth. Take mouthful of water. Swish well around mouth. Swallow (herbs have wonderful health benefits). Use several times daily. Repeat as needed. May need to floss to get herb pieces from between teeth.

Sodium Hydroxide--Purpose: Bleaching/cleaning agent; a common component of oven and drain cleaners. Health effects: skin irritation
Sorbitol—Sweetener, tartar control agent, humectant. Health effects: bloating and intestinal cramping in high doses; Laxative. Because of its laxative effects, the use of gel toothpastes (which can contain up to 70 percent sorbitol) by small children should be supervised, possibly even discouraged, by parents.
PVM/MA copolymer--Plastic-like glue derived from polyvinyl, often found in hair gels and sprays, which sticks the triclosan, and other ingredients, to the teeth and gums. Health effects: Unknown
Sodium Fluoride--Strengthens tooth enamel, Antibacterial. Health effects: Fluorosis: spotting, mottling and yellowing of the teeth; especially in children; Osteoporosis: ingested fluoride leeches calcium from the bones; Allergy/hypersensitivity reactions; Poisonous: ingestion can cause salivation, nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain and diarrhea

silica (hydrated)--Abrasive stain remover. Health effects: Weakens tooth enamel; tooth enamel rebuilds itself daily from ionic calcium and phosphorus in the saliva; regularly scratching the surface of the tooth with harsh abrasives interferes with this process. Gum damage: in rare cases the silica can build up under the gum, causing inflammation. The safety of ingested silica has not been adequately proven, and some observers have linked it with Crohn’s disease, though this connection remains unsubstantiated.
Glycerin—Lubricant; Humectant. Generally safe.
Saccharin--Artificial sweetener. Health effects: Carcinogenic: linked to bladder cancer in animals.
Triclosan--Antibacterial agent; Reduces plaque. Health effects: Gum damage: causes premature cell death in gum tissues; Allergic reactions; Ulceration. Alters the biodynamic balance of the mouth: kills good and bad bacteria, which could make users more vulnerable to infection.
A chlorinated aromatic, triclosan is molecularly similar to dioxins, PCBs (highly toxic chlorine-based compounds) and the herbicide Agent Orange.
Indeed, its manufacturing process can release dioxins (powerful hormone disrupters) into the environment. It is also a chlorophenol, a class of chemicals that can cause cancer in animals. Commonly used as a pesticide, it is easily absorbed into the body via the mouth, and has been associated with liver damage in animals.
CI 42090—Blue coloring. BANNED IN AUSTRIA, BELGIUM, FRANCE, GERMANY, NORWAY, SWITZERLAND AND SWEDEN. Health effects: Hyperactivity; Skin rashes; Potential carcinogen: there is some evidence that CI 42090, also known as FD&C Blue 1 and E133, can cause cancer in animals.
CI 47005—yellow coloring. BANNED IN AUSTRALIA, THE US AND NORWAY. Health effects: Asthma, Rashes, Hyperactivity. Aspirin-sensitive people should avoid this colouring. Also known as FD&C yellow 10 and E104, CI 47005 is a coal-tar dye and can contain impurities that are neurotoxic and carcinogenic.
Sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS)--Detergent and foaming agent SLS is a harsh cleanser often used as an engine de-greaser. It’s added to toothpaste to make it foam, but is not necessary to clean your teeth.
Health effects: Irritating to the mucous membranes in the mouth; Mouth ulcers, canker sores; Contact eczema;
Aroma—Flavouring. Health effects: Allergic reactions: some of these may mimic common dental problems, such as bleeding gums, mouth ulcers and gingivitis (inflammation of the gums). Potential carcinogen: aromas are generally petroleum derivatives and can be contaminated with cancer-causing substances.

The zinc oxide provides full spectrum protection of at least 15-20. Then the oils in this sunscreen are all sun-filtering oils and there is titanium dioxide for added protection. I compare the SPF factor of Live Long to a commercial, chemical sunscreen of 25-30.

.... I think the Sunscreen is great the way it is!! It does have a funny smell when you get out in the sun, but I will chose that over all the chemicals!!! Commercial Sunscreen Ingredients
Isotridecyl salicylate, Octyl salicylate--UVB filter and antiseptic. Skin irritants; some salicylates have hormone-disrupting potential.
Butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane--UVA filter. Causes: skin rashes, allergic reactions and inflammation; B-MDMs questionable stability in the sun means it may break down into chemicals that inhibit the skins natural defenses against sunlight, leaving it more vulnerable to skin cancer and premature ageing.
Octocrylene--UVB filter belonging to the cinnamate family of chemicals. Health effects: Skin irritant; some cinnamates have hormone-disrupting effects; research by the Norwegian Radiation Protection Authority suggests that weak doses of cinnamates can cause premature death of animal skin cells.
Potassium Hydroxide--Controls alkalis. Health effects: Skin irritation and eye damage.
Butane, Isobutane and Propane
Parfum--Fragrance. Health effects: Allergenic; can contain hormone-disrupting, liver-toxic and neurotoxic artificial musks; asthmatic reactions; nervous-system reactions such as headaches, mood swings, depression, forgetfulness and irritation.

C12-15 alkyl benzoate--Synthetic moisturizer and preservative
Diethylhexyl butamido triazone--UV filter
Polyglyceryl-3 methylglucose distearate--Emulsifier – holds the mixture of water and oils together

PVP/ hexadecene copolymer, acrylates/ vinyl isodecanoate crosspolymer--Keep the product stuck to the skin and improve water-resistance
While it is impossible to make an effective sun cream without chemical sun screens or mineral sun blocks, it is possible to make a sun cream that is low in skin irritants and is without synthetic perfumes or petroleum-derived polymers (plastic-like substances that glue the sun screen to your skin). Products that use mineral sun blocks, such as titanium or zinc oxide, tend to be less irritating than chemical sun screens.
