Jasmine Pearl Green Tea, 3 oz.

Jasmine teas are primarily produced near Fuzhou City in Fujian Province, China. The Jasmine tree was native to the Persian Gulf, and according to some sources was brought to China in the 3rd Century.

Our Jasmine Pearls are processed by taking the fine young leaf-and-bud sets picked in April of each year. They are then rolled into pearls, carefully stored until late June, when jasmine trees blossom with thousands of flowers per tree.

The tea is then separated into mesh trays and placed in a heated drier. In between each tray of tea pearls, a mesh tray of freshly picked jasmine flowers is placed. The drier gently blows 80-degree air through the tea and the blossoms, allowing the tea to gently absorb the scent of the flowers. In the morning the trays are removed, and the pearls are re-fired to remove any moisture absorbed from the blossoms, and then they are packed into chests and prepared for shipment. The only aid to the scenting process is the gently blowing warm air of the drier.

Brewing Notes
  • Start with your favorite spring or filtered water. Preheat the teaware. Use a large strainer basket to allow the leaves to open and release their flavor.
  • Temperature: 180 F    Time: 2-3 minutes
    Amount:
    3g / 6 oz serving = 1 teaspoon
Play with the amount of tea, the water temperature, and steeping time to re-steep - rely on taste, not color. Get to know the tea! Try it gong-fu style - use a lot of leaf and short steeps for multiple infusions.

Yerba Mate Herbal Tea

Yerba mate is the dried leaves and stems of a South American rainforest holly, and is the national beverage of Paraguay. The term mate is a Guarani Indian word for gourd, referring to the hollowed out gourds once used to hold the tea. In traditional use of yerba mate, the tea cup is often shared among close friends and family, all of whom use thee same straw, or bombilla. Sharing the same straw is considered a sign of total acceptance and friendship. Yerba Mate is one of the worlds most effective and healing beverages with over 196 active compounds which shadows the active compounds found in Green tea (Camellia sinensis) which has about 144.

Contains: Tannins, antioxidants, polyphenols, amino acids, saponins, vitamins and flavonoids.

Typical Preparations--Traditionally used as a tea. Can be combined with damiana and guarana or with green tea and Cambogia garcinia fruit in ephedra-free weight loss teas.

Summary--Our Yerba mate is shade-grown; is diuretic, inotropic (increasing the strength of each heartbeat), chronotropic (making the heart beat faster), glycogenolytic (breaking down stored glycogen in the liver, allowing it to store calories from the next meal), lipolytic (breaking down fats), and analeptic (stimulating the central nervous system). Yerba mate assists weight loss by increasing the transit time of food through the digestive tract, helping users feel fuller, longer. The British Herbal Compendium also recommends Yerba mate for treating fatigue and headache. Shade grown Yerba mate is far more nutritious and tasty compared to sun grown Yerba mate. Shade grown Yerba mate is a bold dark green and has a nice heavy taste.

Fertility Tea

A Herbal Remedy for Infertility

The use of herbal remedies for infertility is an ancient practice that dates back to 200 AD. Fertility herbs are made from roots, leaves, bark, fruits, and flowers.

Fertility herbs have a positive effect on the hormonal system, reproductive organs, and sex drive. These herbs help to balance the hormones and the menstrual cycle. Red clover and raspberry leaf can also help when there are cysts

Whether you are a believer in herbal medicine or not, the facts are undeniable.   These herbs can help even after chemical fertility drugs have failed.

There are never any risks or side effects to an unborn child. Multiple pregnancies, other than those that naturally acquired are never a problem.  Unlike drugs, there are never any signs of birth defects from the use of natural fertility aids.

These herbs are like fertilizer for the female body. Pregnancy is a gift from God that can only come from a man and a woman. This tea will help to get your body hormonally tuned and ready to conceive a healthy new child, naturally without drugs or harsh chemicals.  They get your body ready to conceive. Creating the perfect breeding ground for conception only makes sense doesn't it?

Study shows that by balancing hormonal levels, your chances of conception can be increased by 3,000%.

The female reproductive cycle is completely run by hormones. Without the hormones, conception would not occur. It's no wonder that if any of your key hormones are unbalanced then infertility is the result.

Maintaining a balance of this fine-tuned system of glands and hormone excretions is paramount in the act of conception.

Directions for use:   Use 1/4 cup. Put in a quart canning jar. Fill the jar with boiling water. Screw on a tight lid. Let steep at room temperature overnight (or for at least four hours). Strain through cloth. Store in refrigerator. Drink two to four cups per day hot or cold. Can be sweetened to taste with honey, sugar or sugar substitute.

If you are not already taking a good herb based vitamin, start a good prenatal vitamin when starting this program or include these vitamins and minerals that seem to increase fertility include:

Contains calcium and magnesium which can relax the nervous system and improve fertility. Traditionally, Red Clover has been administered to help restore irregular menses and to balance the acid-alkaline level of the vagina to promote conception. Especially helpful if there is scarring of the fallopian tubes, irregular menses, abnormal cells in the reproductive tract, or "unexplained" infertility.

Raspberry Leaf: Used to restore a hormonal balance, nourish the uterus, and prevents pregnancy complications. Contains vitamins and minerals including vitamin c and calcium. The alkaloid fragrine helps tone the uterus and muscles of the pelvic region. A powerful fertility-promoting herb.
